As a nation, Canadians are sport crazy. Like other countries around the globe, sport plays a huge part in the history, culture, and traditions of Canada – whilst also bringing communities and people together.
Despite only getting underway just days ago, the IIHF officially canceled this year’s World Juniors this afternoon. This is happening as a result of Omicron COVID-19 cases rising not just in general, but among participating players as well.
The draw for the 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign for European nations is complete, and the campaign begins in March of next year. The 2022 World Cup takes place in Qatar and will take place in November rather than during the summer.
