The first game of the NBA Finals is in the books. And it wasn’t a good start for the Miami Heat. After trailing the Heat by 13 points in the first period, the Los Angeles Lakers dominated the game the rest of the way.

After the first quarter, it appeared the Boston Celtics were ready to go home. Trailing 3-1 in the series, they couldn’t get anything going on the offensive end. They had just been outscored 26-18 by the Miami Heat in the first period.

The Boston Celtics have just fallen down 3-1 to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. With another close game coming down to the wire, the Celtics lost yet again by under five points. This is the third time in this series the team has lost with the game in reach.

With The Boston Celtics down 2-0 in the series, Gordon Hayward provided the spark to get over the hump in Game 3. That’s bad news for the Miami Heat.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Billy Donovan and the Chicago Bulls have come to an agreement that will make Donovan the next head coach of the Bulls.
