For the first installment, I am going to be taking a look at the 2017 Triple-A All Stars to see how they performed during the 2018 season. I will be highlighting Rhys Hoskins, who was playing for the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs in the International League and Christian Walker who was playing for the Reno Aces in the Pacific Coast League.

The final matchup in the 2018 Major League Baseball Season is set. The Los Angeles Dodgers, the National League Champions with a record of 92-71 in the regular season is going up against the Boston Red Sox who had a record of 108-54 during the regular season. To get to the World Series, the Dodgers defeated the Atlanta Braves 3-1 and the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3. The Red Sox had a slightly easier time making it to the Fall Classic by defeating their rivals, the New York Yankees, 3-1 and defeating the defending World Champion, Houston Astros, 4-1. It seems like the Red Sox will be more well rested going into the final series of the year, but let’s take an in-depth look at how these two division champions match up.
Calling an athlete a “dirty player” is quite an accusation. I would go as far to say that it’s equivalent to referring to someone as a cheater or a liar. These qualifiers describe what one thinks about an individual. They go beyond an assessment of behavior. They take it one step further. Qualifiers describe who a person is. Their philosophy or perspective. Who they are within. Their intent.
The Red Sox are coming off of a dominant ALCS series against the reigning champion Houston Astros. Let’s take a look back at the series.

At 5:07 PM ET the first Division Series game will start. It features the Milwaukee Brewers hosting the Colorado Rockies. There are bound to be some home runs hit and some great pitcher vs hitter battles as both teams have power bats in their lineups and power arms out of their pens.
The New York Yankees host the Oakland Athletics at 8PM ET tonight. While the Yankees set the major league record with 267 HRs, the A’s were no slouch clubbing 227. With a bullpen game likely in store from the A’s side, the Yankees throw Luis Severino who couldn’t get out of the first inning last year. This could be a slugfest.
One of the best rivalries in baseball actually means something to both teams going into the final weekend of the season. The Cubs are trying to avoid having to play a Wild Card game on Tuesday. The Cardinals are fighting for their playoff lives. How will this battle unfold?
