The Astros will look to get out of a funk against lefty Tommy Milone and a terrible Mariners bullpen and the Washington Nationals will look to go deep off of starter Daniel Norris who is very prone to giving up the long ball. Week eight is here and some fresh power-rankings are out. This is the first installment of The Scorecrow’s top 10 power rankings. There has been some teams that have been consistent, some teams that have been disappointing, and some really surprising teams. So let’s break down the top 10.

The former top prospect for the Dodgers, Alex Verdugo hasn’t had many opportunities to take over a starting role for the Dodgers. This season with the departures of Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig (via trade) he has received more playing time and has flourished in his new role.
The Los Angeles Dodgers currently have 4 of their top prospects firmly solidified in MLB’s Top 100 Prospects List. The Dodgers farm system ranks as the 8th best in baseball, with at least 4 of their top prospects having the potential to make an impact in 2019.
