The Redskins are no longer winless, the 49ers are 5-0 for the first time since 1990, and both teams will face off this week at FedEx Field in Washington.
The 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams 20-7 in Week 6, and they have shown they can play great as one unit this season. The 49ers gave up a touchdown on the Rams first drive, but after that they were completely lockdown. The Rams were without Gurley, but they still proved they are a serious contender this season by dominating the entire game on both sides of the ball.
The Redskins got their first win of the season last week, beating the now-0-6 Miami Dolphins by a score of 17-16. The Dolphins decided to go for two in the final six seconds of the game and failed to convert. In the end, the Dolphins had nothing to lose, and in all honesty, they’re probably better off losing anyways. Regardless, Redskins quarterback Case Keenum completed 13 of his 25 pass attempts for a total of 166 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Adrian Peterson ran 23 times for 118 yards. Both of the Redskins’ touchdowns were caught by receiver Terry McLaurin.
Jimmy Garoppolo is now 13-2 in his career as an NFL starting quarterback, which makes him just the eighth quarterback in the Super Bowl era to win 13 of his first 15 starts.

Prediction
I don’t think the Redskins have anything to combat the 49ers in Week 7. The Redskins should be happy if they find the end zone at all. Week in and week out, the 49ers prove themselves more and more to be the elite team they think they are. Beating the Redskins won’t prove anything, but losing to the Redskins would prove otherwise.
Score Prediction: 49ers 38, Redskins 3
