After cleaning out and trading away star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, the Texans suddenly needed a wideout. They filled that void quickly by signing veteran Randall Cobb to a three-year, $27 million deal.

Cobb spent last season with the Cowboys and had a very good year for a secondary receiver.
In his 15 games for Dallas, Cobb accumulated three touchdowns on 55 receptions for 828 yards, posting several great games while backing up Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup.
The 2011 second-rounder was a Pro Bowler for the Green Bay Packers back in 2014 and has been a model of consistency. Over his nine-year career, he has only played less than 15 games in a season twice.
Cobb was a big part of the Packers’ playoff runs and was a regular target of Aaron Rodgers in his time with Green Bay. He was signed by the Cowboys ahead of the 2019 season.
With the Texans bringing Cobb aboard, they now have Will Fuller and Randall Cobb at the top of their depth chart but are lacking a true No. 1 receiver for Deshaun Watson.
Look for them to bring in a few more offensive weapons.
