The New York Giants have made a splash on free agency’s opening day.
The team has reportedly landed prized cornerback James Bradberry on a three-year, $45 million deal with $32 million in guaranteed money.

Bradberry, a four-year veteran of the Carolina Panthers, was originally drafted by current Giants general manager Dave Gettleman during his time in Carolina.
The former Arkansas State product was a second-round pick (62nd overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Long considered one of the best zone corners in the NFL, Bradberry has registered 279 tackles (222 solo), seven tackles for loss, 47 career passes defended, and eight interceptions over his four years in Carolina.
Bradberry’s signing, of course, takes the Giants out of the running for former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Byron Jones, who is reportedly signing with the Miami Dolphins.
