Photos: Tom Brady Practices with Buccaneers Teammates

The world has been turned upside-down by the COVID-19 pandemic with all major sports out of play for months. However, there was a glimmer of light Tuesday morning in Tampa Bay.

As the luxury vehicles drove into the parking lots of Berkeley Prep School, many faces familiar to the Tampa Bay community that took to the turf football fields.

Receivers Mike Evans, O.J. Howard, Cameron Brate, and Scotty Miller, quarterbacks Ryan Griffin and Blaine Gabbert, running back Dare Ogunbowale, and center Ryan Jensen patrolled the field.

There was one more player present: Tom Brady.

After making headlines for going to work out at a closed park, Tom Brady took to a public place again and practiced with some of his new teammates for the first time in person. Brady was practicing routes with teammates for almost three hours as he aired his 42-year-old arm and got familiar with his new weapons. He also spent roughly a half-hour after airing out, talking with his teammates, and bonding.

Along with spending time with his teammates, Brady also was able to see if his new team has grinders and early risers who are willing to sacrifice time in the morning and come out to practice.

The NFL has been holding virtual workouts to help teams return to normalcy, but they have yet to allow team workouts. Some teams, however, are trying to open up as soon as this week and it appears that the NFL season is still expected to start on time.
