One of my favorite activities to take part in at bars, other than drinking, of course, is playing darts. Throwing darts takes precision aim, but if you hit the bullseye or triple-20 you’re sitting very pretty. It’s the same concept when it comes to taking down large field tournaments otherwise known as GPPs. Sometimes you have to get a little weird and go off the radar. You don’t have to get a ton of these guys in your lineup, but one or two could be incredibly beneficial. It could also fail miserably. But if you’re playing in a tournament like the Milly Maker on DraftKings, you’re going to need to get creative and use at least one low-owned player. Without further ado, let’s get to some Dart Throws that might help us take home a ton of money.

QB – Daniel Jones ($5,800)
If this game between the Detroit Lions and New York Giants culminates in a shootout, Daniel Jones is obviously going to have to do something. I love Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram as safer plays. Running a Giants stack featuring all three could be slightly lower-owned gold.
RB – J.D. McKissic ($3,900)
With Kerryon Johnson out, I have a hard time believing Ty Johnson is going to step right in and get a ton of work this week. Last week, McKissic played a little less but had more yards per carry, 5.8 compared to only 2.9 YPC for Ty Johnson. McKissic is also used in the passing game. With all of the ownership going to Ty, J.D. could be a slate-breaker.
WR – Darius Slayton ($3,900
Darius Slayton at $3,900 could be a good option. He’s currently tied for second with Chris Conley for average targeted air yards with 16.5. Many people targeting this game will be using Barkley, Engram, and even some revenge game Golden Tate. Looking at Slayton’s targets from a week ago might infuriate air yards, buy-low model chasers. But with his two targets, he made two catches for 28 yards. And he was on the field for 97% of snaps. I could see a scenario where he breaks free and catches a deep ball or two.
TE – Foster Moreau ($2,700)
Well, I mentioned Moreau in my Vegas Totals & Navigation article and the reason for that is simple. He’s getting red-zone opportunities with only one fewer target than Tyrell Williams and Darren Waller for the team lead. Another reason is leverage. Darren Waller is expected to receive ownership upwards of 20% and if he Moreau vultures a TD away from him, all of those that rostered Waller could be in trouble.
