The Crusaders kept it close for the majority of the game but lost due to multiple careless errors despite having a better shooting percentage than the Raiders. While Holy Cross shot 50 percent from the field and 35 percent from deep, Colgate had 17 offensive rebounds and outscored the Crusaders on second-chance points 15-2. Holy Cross also turned the ball over 13 times, which led to 17 points for the Raiders.

Jehyve Floyd and Jacob Grandison both led the Crusaders with 14 points on 6-of-8 and 5-of-9 shooting respectively. Grandison also led Holy Cross in rebounds with seven. Freshman Austin Butler added 12 points on 5-of-12 shooting.

The Raiders struggled shooting wise despite their victory. Colgate shot 32 percent from the field and 23 percent from beyond the arc, only sinking seven of their 30 three-point attempts.

Sophomore Will Rayman was the only Raider with double-digit points as he scored 22 points on 6-of-15 shooting, also shooting 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Senior Jordan Swopshire and Rayman both led the Raiders in rebounds with seven.
