The Crusaders, who did not lead at any point, endured shooting struggles throughout the game. Holy Cross only managed four three-point shots, shooting 22 percent from deep and 35 percent from the field.
Holy Cross freshman dominated the stat sheet for the away team, as Jacob Grandison and Austin Butler both scored 13 points. Grandison led the Crusaders in rebounds with nine, while Butler added six of his own. Freshman guard Caleb Green led the Crusaders in assists with four.

Senior Forward Zach Thomas led Bucknell (13-8, 7-1) in scoring with 18 points in what was his twentieth double-digit scoring effort of the season. Senior Center Nana Foulland added 14 points and led the Bison with seven rebounds. Guards Stephen Brown and Avi Toomer both scored 10 points as well.
Rebounding woes continued for the Crusaders in this game, as they were outrebounded 43 to 36 by the Bisons. This was the eighteenth time this season that Holy Cross was outrebounded by their opponents.
The Crusaders (5-14, 2-6) remained at bottom of the Patriot League with this defeat, with their next game coming against fellow bottom dwellers American University (5-13, 2-5) on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. away from home.
