NBA Rumors: New Orleans Pelicans could trade Brandon Ingram for 'All-Star type player'

Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, and Josh Hart were traded to the New Orleans Pelicans a few months ago for Anthony Davis.

Brandon Ingram is the best talent out of those three players, and he’s proven it with the Lakers. In the last six games before getting injured, post-All-Star break, Ingram averaged 28.9 points per game, as a second option on the offensive end. If the Pelicans utilize Ingram correctly, he could be a special player, and one they would regret trading.

Lynx impressive home win is the team’s fourth straight against Phoenix

Coming off of a heartbreaking loss on the road to the Atlanta Dream, the Minnesota Lynx played an impressive game at home to beat the Phoenix Mercury for the fourth straight time Sunday night. In this 75-62 victory over the Mercury, the Lynx came out strong, scoring quick points. Throughout the game, the Lynx were able to body their way past a physical Phoenix team as all five Lynx starters finished in double-digits. This win puts Minnesota at 10-7 as they remain number four in league standings.

Phoenix Mercury fall to the Connecticut Sun: Taurasi returns to basketball, Sancho Lyttle suffers another leg injury

Diana Taurasi made her long-awaited return to hoops Friday night at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut vs the Connecticut Sun. Taurasi, who had been out for the first half of the season with a back injury that required surgery, went through the team’s pre-game shoot around and several other drills at full speed prior to being in the starting lineup for the Mercury. Though the Mercury led the Sun 36-30 at halftime, the Sun came out shooting well. The Sun’s entire starting lineup turned into scoring machines, as all five finished the game in double figures after going on a 17-1 run in the 2nd half.

On Wednesday word is spread all over social media that former NFL defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth was in desperate need of a kidney due to the failure of his kidneys. He posted on Instagram that the time had come to ask for help and fans and media alike have been spreading his plea for help on social media platforms far and wide. Another NFL player who has already gone through a kidney transplant is former Bills wide receiver, Donald Jones.
