The Philadelphia Eagles decided to let Malcolm Jenkins walk, not paying him the money he wanted. On Wednesday, Jenkins signed back with the team that drafted him, the New Orleans Saints for four years, $32 million with $16.5 million guaranteed. Jenkins obviously would have helped the Eagles this year, but they were more worried about the last year or two of a four year deal. At the end of the deal he will be turning 36, and he could start to lose his swagger; the Eagles also want to get younger.
