Angels Add Southpaw Reliever to 40-Man Roster
The Angels might be changing the narrative that they can’t hang onto a southpaw reliever, as they’ve added Ryan Buchter to the 40-man roster.

The Milwaukee Brewers finished 89-73 last season. That was good enough for a Wild Card berth. They lost to the eventual World Series champs in the one-game playoff. They will look to get back to the playoffs this season but will have to do it without a few key players. Let’s take a look at what 202 holds in store for the Brew Crew.

If there’s one thing that can never be taken away from Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia, it’s his 2008 AL MVP award.
However, was he even the best player on his team? Jordan Leandre doesn’t think so.

There have been many gifted athletes who have played multiple sports in their day. Patrick Champion takes a look at some notables to do that.

After a critical first assessment, Alex Haarmeyer has shared an updated review of The Sandlot Game after additional footage was posted.

The Boston Red Sox announced on Thursday that ace pitcher Chris Sale will have Tommy John surgery on his left elbow.

One year after keeping Mike Trout locked in for life, B.J. Martin revisits and analyzes the extension:
The reigning National League Central Champions will try to win back-to-back divisions since the 2014-15 seasons. There have not been many turnovers going into this season; the biggest change is losing outfielder Marcell Ozuna, who had 52 home runs and 177 RBI in his two seasons with St. Louis.

On this installment of “White Sox Wednesday,” Joe Heller takes a look at ‘Shoeless’ Joe Jackson:
The A’s had a great season in 2019, going 97-95, but because of the Astros winning over 100 games they had to play the Rays in the Wild Card game. They wound up losing that game 5-1 to the Rays and look to avoid that game this year by winning the AL West.
The 2019 season was an overall success, finishing 97-65 and winning their second straight National League East title. However, they lost to the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Divisional Series 3-2, their tenth straight postseason series that ended in a loss. While the team floundered yet again in the postseason, it returns this season with their young core still very much intact and with another season under their belts. While they have the talent to make a postseason run, they’ll have plenty of competition yet again, both in the division and in the National League in general, standing in their way.

Believe it or not, there are some beneficiaries to the MLB season being delayed.
The Angels are definitely one of them, writes B.J. Martin.
