Anyone who watched the action unfold at the 2021 World Junior Hockey Championships inside the bubble in Edmonton, Alberta likely marveled at the team in red, blue, and white. Not only was this rendition of Team USA one of the deepest (and most talented) in recent memory. Many experts in and around the game pegged them to have one heck of a showing.-That’s precisely what happened en route to a Gold Medal.

It’s finally here, the National Championship. While it does mark the end of college football, we have a great matchup up ahead of us tonight. Two very explosive offenses, two blue-blood programs, and the clear two best teams in the country. Let’s end this College football season with a bang.

The Sunday games are underway, as we are currently watching the Baltimore Ravens take on the Tennessee Titans. With that said, we still have two highly anticipated matchups to go. The Chicago Bears travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints. The Bears are double-digit underdogs. And for the nightcap, the Cleveland Browns face the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

The Cleveland Browns (11-5) travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers (12-4) on Sunday Night of Wild Card Weekend.

A year after Noah Igbinoghene entered the draft as a cornerback after spending most of his career as a receiver, there is another similar story this year. Derion Kendrick spent his sophomore season in high school as a receiver before transitioning to play quarterback his final two years. He went to Clemson to play receiver and made the transition to cornerback before the 2019 season. Kendrick started immediately despite never playing the position before. He has caught the NFL’s attention as a potential first-round pick with a ton of untapped potential yet to be reached.

The New Orleans Saints (12-4) won the NFC South and slot in as the second seed. The Chicago Bears (8-8) grab the seventh seed by virtue of the tiebreaker with the Arizona Cardinals. These two teams met up at Soldier Field in Week 8 with the Saints winning 26-23 in overtime. A lot has changed since November 1, but one thing is for sure, it should be a close game.

Entering the 2020 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys had great expectations and lots of potential. Unfortunately, 2020 was a heartbreaking disappointment and Dallas finished 6-10 and again missed the playoffs.

There have been reports that the Padres are closing in on an extension with their star shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. but there are reasons why they should be more patient.

Entering the 2020 season, the Atlanta Falcons had a few questions. They were 3-9 with four games left to go in the 2019 season, yet they won all of those games to save Dan Quinn’s job. Quinn was on the hot seat entering this season. Atlanta entered the season with lofty expectations with Matt Ryan and the tandem of Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley still intact. Unfortunately, the Falcons never got their footing and finished the season with a record of 4-12.

After a rough defensive first half, Miami picked up their defensive intensity and slowed down the Wizards in the second to win the game. Miami is now 4-4 for the season.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs made headlines in recent weeks for allegedly setting an NFL record with 16 dropped interceptions during the season. This is likely not a record as stats such as dropped interceptions have only recently been calculated, but it is an alarming trend for the quarterback that is considered the best quarterback in football.
