Another mega-slate of games after a light two-games last night in the NHL. Tonight we have a huge 14 games on the card. Half the games have a combined implied total of at least six goals with two of them currently pegged at 6.5. Penguins at Panthers and Sharks at Flames are leading the way in high-event probability.
A maxed out NHL card for Tuesday evening brings us 12 games to choose from. Plenty of high event games to like, Golden Knights at Lightning, Sharks at Jets, Blue Jackets at Avalanche, Blackhawks at Oilers and Hurricanes at Penguins round out games with the most offensive upside.

The NHL is finally back in action. The schedule has been very light with only two games played last night. Tonight we have just three games to break down, so every game is in play. The Jets/Bruins has the chance of being a high event game, followed by Flyers/Rangers and Sabres/Blue Jackets to round out the card. Let’s get to it!
We have six games on the docket this evening. Minnesota Wild at Colorado Avalanche, Washington Capitals at Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes at Vancouver Canucks round out my top three. *Keep in mind, the League will be going on an extended all-star break until Monday, January 28th* Let’s get to it!
For a change, this particular Tuesday has a lighter offering of games on the schedule. Carolina Hurricanes and Calgary Flames are primed for high scoring as well as the San Jose Sharks at the slumping Washington Capitals. Detroit Red Wings at Edmonton Oilers round out my top three of the night. The Blackhawks can score in bunches but they are matched up against the number one ranked team in goals-against average, the New York Islanders.

Mike Hoffman (FLA) vs. TOR
Florida is on a major skid lately losing seven games straight. They need to win at some point and when better than at home against Garret Sparks on the back end of a back-to-back. Sparks has a 3.00 goals against average this year which isn’t great, but he is 6-2-1. Mike Hoffman has been one of the only consistent members of the Florida Panthers over this skid, although he does only have three points in his last five games. This is a risky play, but if he does well, it’ll pay off big time.
Guess who’s back on national TV again? Of course, it’s the Blackhawks. Someone inform NBCSN and whoever schedules national TV games that it is not 2015. Either way, Patrick Kane is on a hot streak. Kane has 13 points in his last five games and is riding a six-game point streak. He has five straight games with multiple points. The caliber of team that he’s going against does not matter, Kane should still go off against Lundqvist and the Rangers.
