The Walsh Way – Week 6 DFS Values

Another week in the books, and another page of value chalk that failed spectacularly. As with most weeks, much of the popular value ends up being from one team. Last week, it was Bengals pass-catchers, this week it looks to be the Dolphins offense. We will try to navigate through the landmines the best we can.

The Walsh Way – NHL DFS 10/08/2019

Here were are on a nice Tuesday night, and we have a solid eight-game slate to tackle. For now, I will note that NHL scheduling makes it so Monday, Wednesday, and often Friday are only going to have two to four games on the slate at most. For the time being, we will make sure we have content out for the big slates on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Waiver Wire Candidates for Week 6

What a barren, desolate landscape we have on the waiver wire. As is the case in most seasons, the middle of the season has far fewer options available. Honestly, I’m holding put in most leagues, but if you’re looking for help, here are a few options on the wire.

Week 6 Fantasy Streamers

It’s time for the Week 6 Fantasy Streamers! The teams on bye this week have doubled from two to four teams, so here are some options you can use to replace a quarterback, tight end, defense/special teams, and Kicker.

Woz’s NFL Notebook: Week 5 is Miserable for Jets

Week five of the NFL season did not disappoint, it had everything we come to expect in pro-football. This Sunday’s notebook features a London game, a big performance by a Carolina Panthers running back, Steelers injury worries and another lively performance by Gardner Minshew. The New York Jets had another week to forget.

2019 NFL Draft Class: Minshew stands out

The football community is discussing which player is worthy as the No.1 overall draft pick for 2020. It’s a conversation that divides opinion and will continue on deep into April 2020. Let’s pause that thought for a moment and reflect on this year’s draft, by looking at the top-four picks, and several noticeable rookies. We get underway with Kyler Murray.

The Walsh Way – Week 5 DFS GPP Plays

GAME THEORY

All my plays are based on DraftKings pricing. Its also important to note that when I list a player as a fade, I do not mean I will have 0% of them, but I will be way under the field as far as exposure goes, and likely will not play them on single entry lineups.

NFL Week 5: Broncos at Chargers Preview

The 0-4 Denver Broncos head to the 2-2 Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. It’s an AFC West Divisional game with plenty at stake. Denver knocked the Bolts off their stride in the corresponding game in 2018. Vic Fangio is reeling at the loss of pass rusher Bradley Chubb, but a road win in L.A. will boost the morale of the Broncos.

Atlanta Falcons: Is it time to move on from Dan Quinn?

September football is a period when teams shake off the rust and bond as a team. That’s the theory, but several teams are looking like strong candidates for the No.1 overall draft pick in 2020. The Atlanta Falcons have had a terrible start to the season, and at 1-3, they sit rooted in the basement of the NFC South. Sunday’s game is a coin toss for Atlanta, against the Houston Texans (2-2).

The Walsh Way – NHL GPP 10/04/19

Much like opening night, this is not a big slate, and it is only the third of 170 some slates, so don’t blow your wad just yet. Let’s get a feel for what we are doing here.
