Another year, another Detroit Lions game to kick off Thanksgiving. This year the 3-7 Houston Texans head to Detroit to take on the 4-6 Lions. Except for a six-year span due to World War II, the Lions have played on Thanksgiving every year since 1934. They have a 37-41-2 record on Thanksgiving but have lost their last three games on the holiday.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and hopefully, you can spend it with family and friends. As much as we all love the food, the thing we are most thankful for today is football. Usually, with only one game a week on Thursday, there is only one article. However, with two games on because of Thanksgiving, I am doing a separate breakdown for each game. In the first game, we have the Houston Texans taking on the Detroit Lions.
Tonight we have a matchup between two teams currently sitting in second place in their respective divisions as the 6-3 Los Angeles Rams head east to take on the 7-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even more importantly, the winner of this game will have the advantage come playoff time for the top Wild Card seed.
Despite some concerns that this game would have to be rescheduled because of Covid-19, tonight we get a rematch of the high scoring shootout in Week 5 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders. When these two teams met in Week 5, the Raiders gave the Chiefs their only loss of the season, winning 40-32.
When it comes to gambling, sometimes you end the day counting your winnings, and sometimes you wonder where you went wrong. Last week was the latter for me as I went 4-9 on my 13 prop bets. However, it’s a new week and a new chance to make some money.
The best part about fantasy football is winning. The second best part is the draft. However, the draft has come and gone, and fantasy owners struggle with who to start, who to sit, and who to target as a sleeper each week.
Back in Week 7, the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals had a shootout that went into overtime and ended with the Cardinals winning 37-34. Tonight we get round two as these two 6-3 teams get to entertain everyone on primetime.
Tonight we have a battle between two of the top teams in not only the NFC West but the entire conference as the 6-3 Arizona Cardinals head up north to take on the 6-3 Seattle Seahawks. These two teams played a few weeks ago, with the Cardinals winning 37-34 in overtime.
Yesterday, we had plenty of exciting NFL action. Hopefully, you read my Fave Five Prop Bets from last night’s game, where I was a perfect 5-5. If not, you have the chance to make some tonight as we have a matchup between NFC North divisional rivals as the 3-5 Minnesota Vikings head to Chicago to take on the 5-4 Bears.
Hopefully, you read my weekly prop bets article before today’s games kicked off, but if you didn’t, you have the chance to make some money tonight. In primetime, we have a matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots. Tonight’s game features two of the better running quarterbacks in the league in Lamar Jackson and Cam Newton.
