Fanelli’s Fave Five Prop Bets for TNF: Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks

Back in Week 7, the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals had a shootout that went into overtime and ended with the Cardinals winning 37-34. Tonight we get round two as these two 6-3 teams get to entertain everyone on primetime. While everyone will have their eyes glued to the game, gamblers’ only rooting interest is whatever will lead to money in their pocket. However, which bets should they place? Here are my five favorite prop bets for tonight’s game.

Kyler Murray Over 57.5 Rushing Yards (-112)

Given his recent play, Murray has to be the front runner for MVP. He has the Cardinals tied for the top spot in the division and is doing it with both his arm and legs. Murray has 10 rushing touchdowns this season, second-most in the league and first among quarterbacks. He is also rushing for an average of 67.1 yards per game. Furthermore, Murray has rushed for 60 or more yards in all but two games this season, including four straight. In their Week 7 matchup, Murray had a season-high 14 rushing attempts for 67 yards, so expect a similar performance tonight.

Tyler Lockett to Score an Anytime Touchdown (-125)

In case you forgot what Lockett did in Week 7, he caught 15 of his 20 targets for 200 yards and three touchdowns. That was the second game this year where Lockett had three touchdowns, giving him a total of seven on the season. While Lockett is dealing with a knee injury, he should play tonight. The reason Lockett had such a big game the last time these two teams played was Patrick Peterson shadowing D.K. Metcalf and the Cardinals should do the same tonight. The Cardinals have given up 11 touchdowns to wide receivers this season; however, they have given up seven of them over their last three games. With Peterson shadowing Metcalf tonight, Lockett should have no trouble scoring at least once, if not twice.

DeAndre Hopkins Over 6.5 Receptions (-167)

No matter how many times you watch the replay of Hopkins’ game-winning touchdown last week, you are still amazed by it. While he has struggled at times over the past few weeks, Hopkins is still averaging 7.4 receptions per game. He has at least seven receptions in six of nine games this season, including 10 in the Week 7 matchup. Meanwhile, the Seahawks can’t stop a nose bleed, let alone a star NFL wide receiver. They are giving up an average of 22 receptions for 270 receiving yards and 1.4 touchdowns per game to wide receivers this season. To make matters worse for the Seahawks, they will be without Shaquill Griffin and Quinton Dunbar tonight. Hopkins should have no trouble hitting the over before the start of the fourth quarter.

Russell Wilson Over 0.5 Interceptions (-130)

After starting the 2020 season on fire, Wilson has thrown at least one interception in five of his last six games. Furthermore, he has thrown seven interceptions over his last four games, including a season-high three in the Week 7 matchup. Wilson has made several big-time plays this season but has forced some throws too. Meanwhile, the Cardinals’ defense has played much better of late. Over their last four games, they have seven interceptions after totaling only one over the first five games of the season. Wilson will need to throw the ball plenty tonight and should throw at least one interception if not two.

Kyler Murray to Score an Anytime Touchdown (-155)

At this point, taking this prop is like taking candy from a baby. Murray has 10 rushing touchdowns this season, second-most in the league. He has at least one rushing touchdown in all but one game this season and is coming off a two rushing touchdown game against the Buffalo Bills last week. Murray is averaging just under 10 rushing attempts per game and is always a threat to score in the red zone. Furthermore, he has 67 percent of the Cardinals’ rushing touchdowns this season. Murray has a rushing touchdown in five straight games, including the Week 7 matchup. Don’t be surprised if Murray has a rushing touchdown before halftime.
