For how great Montreal versus Toronto has been up until the weekend, as Saturday’s tilt can be classified as a letdown. Tonight we have a full schedule with 10 games on the docket.

Welcome to a special Saturday edition of Ice Picks, hockey fans. Tonight we are hoping for some offense for both of our picks, so let’s get to it.
On to a new night. Will the trend of favorites continue to be the winning side (near 70 percent)? Or will we see the underdogs close the gap? Lots of hockey left and lots of picks to make, let’s get started.
With some shoot-out luck in the Carolina 4-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks, we were able to sweep our picks Tuesday. In the other game, Montreal keeps rolling with a 5-3 victory over the Canucks.
On to another week and another slate. Tonight, we are looking at a couple of favorites to get the job done. Let’s get into some Ice Picks.
Our picks series continues with another big night around the NHL. Last time out we went 1-1 and now sit at a respectable 6-4. Tonight, we get a bit “chalk-y” with our picks.
We head into another week of gambling coming off a sweep Thursday to bring our record to 5-3. Tuesday’s card is absolutely jam-packed with 13 games. For this edition, the focus is on the ultra-competitive East Division.
Welcome back to Ice Picks, and thank you to those following along as we try to breakdown these NHL cards. Thursday we split our picks as the Devils, thanks to a 47 save performance by Mackenzie Blackwood, edged out the Rangers. Things were evened out with another supreme goaltending performance as Brian Elliot and the Flyers blanked the Sabres 3-0. Tonight we are going slightly conservative again as we back some favorites. Let’s hop right in pick some winners, time for Ice Picks.
Welcome back to Ice Picks. Saturday we took a bite of some humble pie as we missed on both of our selections to even out our season record to 2-2. Expect some ebbs and flows throughout the year. A good goal is to try to hit on 55-60 percent of selections. Just as important is to try to stay as even-keeled as possible. With a good mindset in tack let’s tackle some Ice Picks for Tuesday’s eight-game slate.
Our opening night picks were a success as we hit on both of our selections. Saturday’s games feature a lot of repeat matches which will be a theme all season long. Tonight’s featured games include teams clashing for a second consecutive time. Let’s dig right into it and make some Ice Picks.
Hockey fans rejoice! We are finally getting live NHL action after what seems like forever. With all the negativity floating around whether politics or covid-19
2020 marked another season where the St. Louis Cardinals were very mediocre. The 30-28 regular-season record coupled with an early two games-to-one defeat to the Padres in the Wild Card round showed us that there is plenty of room for improvement. How will this storied franchise handle things before the 2021 season rolls around? Perhaps a few significant additions can stir the drink and make this team a true contender once again.
