It appears that the Miami Heat are finally starting to click. After beating the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, Miami has won four straight games and the team’s offense looked as good as it has ever been this season.
The Miami Heat escaped what was a wild finish in Los Angeles. With eight seconds left in the game, Andre Iguodala tried to throw an inbounds pass to Jimmy Butler but turned it over. The Los Angeles Lakers, however, missed the game-tying shot in the end. It was a low-scoring game with both teams competing defensively. With the win, Miami is now 3-3 on the road trip and 13-17 for the season.
The Miami Heat clearly needs an upgrade at the power forward position and the team has been scouring the trade market for frontcourt help. One possible option is Rudy Gay.

The Miami Heat knew this was going to be a tough game. The New York Knicks entered Sunday’s game ranked number one in team defense.
The Miami Heat entered Friday’s game determined to win. Miami started the first quarter strong with 40 points in the period. And never looked back from there.
Just four months ago, the Miami Heat were in the NBA Finals. And now, they have one of the worst records in the league. The latest loss coming against the Washington Wizards. After having a 10 point halftime lead, Miami fell apart offensively in the second half. With the loss, Miami falls to 7-14 for the season.
This almost ended up being a bad night for Miami Heat. The team blew an 11-point lead to the Sacramento Kings in the fourth quarter. But thanks to Jimmy Butler’s aggressiveness, and Bam Adebayo’s clutch block, the team was able to seal the victory.
Make that five straight losses for the Miami Heat. After trailing by as many as 18 points, the Heat was able to cut the lead down to single digits in the fourth period. However, the Los Angeles Clippers ended up closing the deal in the end.
Make that back-to-back losses against the Brooklyn Nets. The Miami Heat came out strong defensively, holding the Nets to 41 points in the first half. Unfortunately, the Heat grew cold in the last six minutes of the game
Playing against the star-studded Brooklyn Nets, the odds were already stacked against the Miami Heat. Still, the Heat played with great heart and determination. Unfortunately, turnovers and a missed opportunity to call a timeout late hurt the team.
