James Harden wants out of Houston and it appears he’s doing all he can to make that clear. On Tuesday, ESPN reported Harden told the Houston Rockets before training camp “that he would be open to a trade to the Philadelphia 76ers or possibly other contenders.” The 76ers were listed as one of Harden’s preferred destinations, which reportedly included the Brooklyn Nets and the Miami Heat.
Since the Miami Heat “Big Three” era ended, the team has done a great job of scouting and developing talent. They have turned undrafted and second round picks into productive rotational players. Could KZ Okpala be next?

There’s been speculation the team may have to part with Josh Richardson. Richardson is on a good contract but could opt out of his $11 million player option for the 2021-22 NBA season.
After making a surprising championship run in the playoffs, the Miami Heat will have a lot of decisions to make this offseason. The biggest decision of the offseason will involve the contract talks with rising star big man Bam Adebayo.
Of course, it always disappointing to lose in the NBA Finals. Falling short of your goal always hurts. Despite the loss, the Miami Heat still had a great season. They just ran into a great Los Angeles Lakers team with two superstar talents in Anthony Davis and Lebron James.
