Welcome to my first official episode of the “Leading the Charge” Buffalo Bills podcast! In today’s episode, I discussed my opinion on who should make the 53-man roster come the 2020 season. Hey guys, so I decided to start my own football podcast. I am a Buffalo Bills fan so a lot of what I talk about will be about the Bills, but I am also planning on discussing the league as a whole while sprinkling in some of my scouting knowledge! I am going to attempt to make this a daily podcast or at least every other day.
Alright, ladies and gentlemen, I was able to get Amik Robertson, the new Las Vegas Raiders’ cornerback, and Louisiana Tech alumni, on the phone for an interview. In his three years as a starter at Louisiana Tech, Robertson recorded 183 tackles, 14 interceptions, and four sacks, while also finding the end zone three times. It was a pleasure to be able to interview Amik and I appreciate him taking time out of his day to do so. This is how it all went down.
The Miami Dolphins entered this draft looking to build this team up even more after spending a lot of money in free agency. They had 14 picks, but after trades, the Dolphins added 11 new players to their roster. So where did they hit? Where did they miss? Let’s get into it.

Obviously, this is not a make-or-break draft for the Chiefs due to how good they already are, but there is a lot of talent in the draft that can make the Chiefs unstoppable. Joe Douglas went into this draft with something to prove. There were a lot of different routes that the Jets could have gone, but I think, for the most part, they took the correct route. Let’s get into it.
The Tennessee Titans entered the 2020 NFL Draft with clear needs on the offensive line, defensive line, and in the secondary. With only six picks in this draft, the Titans tried their best to address their needs and it led to a reach or two.
The Seattle Seahawks went into the 2020 NFL Draft with something to prove after missing on back-to-back first-round picks in 2018 and 2019. This year, they picked in the same range and there was somewhat of a similar result. Did Seattle improve upon there last two drafts? Let’s get into it.
Buffalo went into this draft without a first-round pick due to the Stefon Diggs trade, but you wouldn’t know it based on the talent they came away with. They did a great drop addressing the only needs on this team as well as some holes on the depth chart. Every single guy in this draft class could easily find themselves on the 53-man roster in 2020.
Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the article that will get every fanbase grabbing their pitchforks and torches and chasing me out of the country. It’s time for my final mock draft of the year. This will be a seven-round mock draft with some trades. Just to clarify, I did not make moves in rounds three and on because on day two and three of the draft, so many teams make minor moves that I did not include. Alright, let’s get into it.
We are almost there! The 2020 NFL draft is almost here and it’s going to be a draft like no other in NFL history. However, once the draft starts and the picks start rolling, everyone will forget about how the draft is being done remotely and focus on who is being picked and what team is trading up.
