NBA DFS Core Four 8/14/20

We are back with a lot of fun games today! With so many players being rested today, we are going to find those bargain plays to help us make a lot of money! Let’s get to it!

As a reminder, all prices below are DraftKings!

James Harden – ($11,500) Houston Rockets vs Philadelphia 76ers

Harden is a ferocious, extremely talented baller. He is playing completely out of his mind. He is averaging 60 fantasy points a game over his last few games! That’s some insanely good numbers. To make a case for Harden here, fellow superstar, Russell Westbrook is out, probably the entire first round. Harden is going to absolutely feast! Continuing to put up eye opening numbers. On the year, Harden is averaging 34.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 7.5 assists. With the 76ers allowing the 16th most points to opposing guards, well, let’s just say Harden is gonna ball! He’s my lock of the night and it’s not even close!

Shake Milton – ($5,900) Philadelphia 76ers @ Houston Rockets

I had Milton on the Core Four edition a few nights ago and boy did he step up. With Ben Simmons continuing to sit out, Milton going to get all the minutes he can handle. He is coming off a very nice performance where he scored eight points, four rebounds, and five assists. Good enough for 21 fantasy points. The minutes are there for Milton so that shouldn’t be an issue. With Westbrook being a very decent defender, and him being out, should open up some holes for Milton. I like him, especially at this price point. He won’t set the world on the fire, but considering what he could do and what he’s capable of, I like my chances!

Tobias Harris – ($8,100) Philadelphia 76ers @ Houston Rockets

Similar to Milton, Harris is going to have to carry the offense with Simmons and Joel Embiid both injured. Harris is coming off a beautiful performance where he 22 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Good enough for 41.5 fantasy points! With so many key players out for the 76ers, someone has to step up on offense, and that’s Harris. He should get the ball early and often and do everything he can to will the 76ers to a victor. It is still unclear if Embiid will play or not. But, one thing we do know, is Harris will have to carry the team. And that’s exactly what he’ll do. I’m expecting him to drop another 40+ fantasy point performance!

Kelly Olynyk – ($5,500) Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers

Olynyk (thumb), has been cleared to play! He is an extremely underpriced player who can fill up the stat sheet in a hurry. Since the NBA reset started, he’s averaging 13.7 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Olynyk is the type of player that can beat you in the paint, or step outside and pop the three-ball. He is still getting around 20 minutes a game, and as his thumb issue continues to improve, so should the numbers.

The Pacers are giving up the 21st most points to opposing big men, and that will bode well for Olynyk owners. He is going to do what he can to will the Heat to a victory, and if Olynyk is on his game, the Pacers will have an extremely tough time keeping him at bay. He is a sneaky play here, but I like the risk-reward play here!

That does it for this edition of Core Four! Hope you guys enjoy it, and good luck!
