I seriously have no idea how the Rockets are going to guard Anthony Davis. After trading Clint Capela, they are going to have someone like Robert Covington or P.J. Tucker get some minutes at center.
2/6: USC @ Arizona (-10)
Arizona is winning 90% of its games at home. They also have an average winning margin of 16 points.
2/6: Cal (+16) @ Colorado
I get that Cal is not a great team overall, but I’m not completely sold on Colorado being 16 point favorites in any game. I really like Cal to cover in this game.
2/6: WPG Jets @ St Louis Blues (-1.5)
I swear every spread in hockey is +/- 1.5. Even my next pick is a -1.5. But the Blues are still among the best in the league and the Jets are descending in the rankings rapidly. They are 2-7-1 in their last 10.
2/7: Red Wings @ Blue Jackets (-1.5)
Like I just said, -1.5 every damn time. But the Blue Jackets have been quite the surprise this year. After losing some of their best players, they are third in the Metropolitan and are on a massive hot streak right now. Combine that with the Red Wings being awful on the road. Seriously, they are 4-20-2 on the road.
2/8: Seattle Dragons @ D.C. Defenders (-7)
OH YEAH XFL TIME. I claimed the Defenders as my team the second that Cardale Jones signed with the team. A former Ohio State legend will lead this team to a dominating opening game for the new XFL.
