Tonight’s game features a potential MVP and Defensive Player of the year candidate. This will be one of the best matchups we will see all year. Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens head into Los Angeles to face off against Aaron Donald and the Rams. Which side will prevail? Here are my top players and game predictions for tonight’s matchup.
FanDuel MVP and DraftKings Captain
Lamar Jackson (20,400 DK Captain, 13,600 DK, and 17,500 FD)
It’s almost impossible not to go with Jackson. No matter how this offense goes Jackson is right in the middle of it whether they are running the football or passing. He averages 225.8 passing yards and 78.1 rushing yards per game. He has a very good chance to be the highest-scoring fantasy player in this game. Even though his price as Captain is very high as well as his FanDuel price he is worth paying up for.
Flex Players
Miles Boykin (1,600 DK and 5,500 FD)
Jalen Ramsey is going to take out Marquise Brown or Willie Snead. That’s going to open up the door for Boykin to get more targets. He is a bit of a risky play considering the Ravens offense is focused around running the football. However, if the Rams lock in on stopping the run then the Ravens will be forced to throw the football. With Boykin being so cheap if he can at least get a touchdown he will save you enough salary to get Goff and Jackson as your captain and MVP
Jared Goff (8,400 DK and 14,500 FD)
The Ravens have a very good run defense. They only allow 94.3 rushing yards per game. The Rams are going to be forced to throw the football. Goff should have all of his weapons back as well. Brandon Cooks coming off of injury and Robert Woods coming back from his family issues and that will help Goff tremendously. Look for Goff to have a great one of his best games of the season.
Robert Woods (7,000 DK and 11,000 FD)
Woods is back this week after he was a late scratch last week. He left because of family matters but is expected to play. Woods has not found the end zone all year. Although, he had one of his best games of the season before last week’s late scratch. He had 7 receptions for 95 yards and will look to build on that this week.
Justin Tucker (4,000 DK and 10,000 FD)
Tucker has been consistent all year. He averages 10.1 fantasy points on FanDuel and DraftKings. He saves you enough money which allows you to pay up for Jackson and Goff. If the Ravens offense stalls out a couple of times he will kick field goals and if not he will at least kick extra points.
Game Predictions
Even though both teams have good defenses there is still going to be a good amount of scoring. I think Goff is going to play one of his best games of the season and play well enough to win this game. Jackson will still have a good game but he will not do enough to win the game. Final score 31-27 and the Rams get a much-needed win.
Player Predictions
Jackson: 303 total yards and 3 touchdowns.
Boykin: 33 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Goff: 276 passing yards and 3 touchdowns.
Woods: 89 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Tucker: 3/3 Extra Points and 2/2 Field Goals.
