Utah Jazz’s Bojan Bogdanovic to Have Surgery

Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic is having season-ending surgery on his wrist, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The surgery, which is set to occur in New York on Tuesday, will repair the scapholunate ligament in his right wrist.

Last July, Bogdanovic signed a four-year deal with the Jazz. He is averaging 20.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists this season. As far as shooting he was shooting 44.7 percent from the field, 41.4 percent on three-pointers, and 90.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The NBA season is still on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic so now is a good time for Bogdanovic to have the surgery. Bogdanovic will have a lot of time to recover from surgery before next season. Joe Ingles would likely take Bogdanovic’s spot in the lineup if the NBA season resumes.
