Jackson Rutledge is a right-handed flamethrower in the Nationals’ system. The 6-foot-8 San Jacinto product was picked by the Nationals as their first-round pick this past draft and has shown a glimpse of what fans may see in the majors in a few quick years.

Currently ranked by MLB Pipeline as the Nats’ No. 3 overall prospect, Rutledge spoke with Prime Time Sports Talk for this exclusive interview.

In the first portion of this three-piece chat, Rutledge discusses the coronavirus impact, transitions and changes in his career, and more.

Part II expands on the previous portion and includes a quick discussion about the Astros scandal.

The third and final part of the interview is the bulkiest; it discusses a wide range of topics that include his career, growing up, and a short guessing game at the end.
