Report: Tampa Bay Looking at a Pair of Offensive Moves

After landing the biggest free agent on the market, Tom Brady, there are two other big names they are trying to add on his side of the ball.

Todd Gurley

The Buccaneers are looking at the prospect of trading for the Los Angeles Rams three-time Pro Bowl running back. The three-time 1,000-yard rusher has had issues with his knee, that caused many skeptics to question his longevity, but he still managed to rush for 857 yards and 12 touchdowns last seasons

Antonio Brown

According to numerous reports, one of Tom Brady’s requests when meeting with teams was the team’s stand on signing Antonio Brown, barring he’s reinstated after the NFL finishes their investigation. That is a pretty impressive bargaining chip, even for the six-time Super Bowl champion. He only played one game with Antonio Brown before the New England Patriots released the troubled wide receiver.

If these two moves ultimately come to fruition, Tampa Bay would, at least on paper, be well on their way to becoming the first team that could potentially host the Super Bowl in their home stadium.

The Brady signing alone instantly improved their chances, but adding Gurley and Brown to the weapons they already have on offense, including Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and O.J. Howard, would be a dream come true for head coach Bruce Arians and the fan base.
