Report: Raiders put Offer on the Table for Brady

Multiple reports surfaced across social media Saturday, saying that the Las Vegas Raiders are preparing to offer Tom Brady a two-year, $60 million contract.

The six-time Super Bowl champion has been the most speculated player since the Patriots were eliminated in the Wild Card Round.

He reportedly was very unhappy with the original talks with the Patriots about returning to New England. Rumors have been rampant. Seems every few days another team comes to the forefront as Brady’s landing spot. The Raiders were one of the first teams in those rumors. The Titans, Buccaneers, and even the Cowboys have been among some of the other speculated landing spots for the 42-year-old.

$30 million per season seems a little steep for a quarterback who’s been in the league since 2000, even if he is a 14-time Pro-Bowler.

If this pans out what happens with current Raiders signal-caller Derek Carr, who just received an extension before last season. Although it’s been widely questioned if he was head coach Jon Gruden’s “guy.”

If nothing else, this would definitely make a splash for a team in a new city especially when their new home is in Las Vegas. Even worse for any other team that wants to attempt to sign him the bar has been set.
