The New England Patriots have quite a few starters hitting the open market come March 18.
One of these names, Kyle Van Noy was asked about his future in New England with his contract expiring.
“Everything’s on the table. I’m looking obviously to get paid a lot,” Van Noy told Tom E. Curran on Quick Slants. “I’ll just leave it at that. I’m blessed in so many ways and I’m excited to play for the Patriots and excited to play with my teammates.”
Van Noy also made an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, praising now New York Giants head coach Joe Judge.
“He’s a ball of energy,” Van Noy told McAfee. “If he can take his energy he has and consistently, each and every day, line it up with that positive energy. I think they’re going to be really, really good because he’s a really good coach. I’m excited for him with the Giants. Go Giants, right?”
Here is his answer, live with McAfee.

Free agency is drawing closer and closer with the Giants expecting to be big spenders with $61 million in cap space.
Adding Van Noy to a linebacking group including former second-round pick Markus Golden and second-team All-Pro Alec Ogletree would be a great step in fortifying their that position.
In comparison, the Patriots are expected to have just $49 million in cap space with a boatload of impending free agents to sign as previously stated.
The starters with expiring contracts are as follows.
- Tom Brady
- Devin McCourty
- Jamie Collins
- Danny Shelton
- Joe Thuney
- Matthew Slater
