Tiger Woods has an extremely busy schedule the next few weeks. The golf legend is hosting his 18-man Hero World Challenge this week. The exhibition event will run from Wednesday to Saturday and all 18 golfers will be guaranteed 72 holes of golf in the Bahamas without the stress of missing a cutline.

The 18-hole championship golf course is designed by Ernie Els. The links and desert features on the par-72, 7,400-yard golf course demand the golfers play strategically while trying to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The course boasts seven eagle opportunities with the par-fives and drivable par-fours for the longer hitters. With fairways typically wider than what the pro-players are used to, they will swing away without much fear as water only comes into play on three holes.
According to tournament rules, all players that compete in the event shall be ranked in the top 50 in the world, excluding sponsor exemptions. However, this year, all players are ranked in the top 50. World No. 4 Dustin Johnson withdrew from the event to continue physical therapy from knee surgery and to ensure he is in top form for the Presidents Cup that starts Monday, Dec. 9. Chez Reavie will be replacing Johnson in the event this week.

President’s Cup
The Presidents Cup began in 1994 and brings the world’s best players to compete for their country and honor in confidence of hoisting the Presidents Cup Trophy. The two teams are composed of the United States and the International Team, which includes the entire rest of the world except Europe. Europe and the United States compete against each other in a team format known as the Ryder Cup. The Presidents Cup is held at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Australia from Dec. 9 to 15, 2019.
