Here are a dozen takeaways from the past week of football.
Again?! Derrick Henry ran wild on the Jaguars like he did in Week 14 last season. He had 19 carries for 159 yards and two touchdowns, including a 74-yarder complete with a few stiff arms.

Nine is a glorious number. With wins on Sunday, the Saints and the Seahawks improved their records to 9-2. The Ravens got their ninth win Monday night.
… 10 is better. With their win over the Cowboys, the Patriots another 10-win season. This is their 17th consecutive 10-win season, a shocking number considering some teams have zero ten-win seasons over the past 17 years. The 49ers also got their 10th win of the season by handling the Packers.
That’s what you get. Jarvis Landry, in his first game against his former team, had 10 catches for 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Dolphins. The Browns won handily, 41-24.

No birthday magic for Fitz. On his 37th birthday, veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw two touchdowns and ran for a 17-yard score. He also became the 44th quarterback in NFL history with 200 career touchdown passes. Still, the Dolphins came out on the losing end.

Why have a Carr when you can have the Jets? In a position where they could smell first place in the AFC West, the Raiders were demolished by the Jets, 34-3. Derek Carr was benched late in the game.
And then there were two. Veteran running back Frank Gore moved ahead of Barry Sanders into third place on the all-time rushing yards list.

Let’s take a selfie. Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins, in his first home win, took a selfie in the waning moments of the win over Detroit. The only problem is that he was supposed to be on the field.

Welcome to Monday night. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, in his Monday night football debut, put on a show. He threw five touchdown passes and ran for 95 yards. That excludes the fourth quarter, which he missed because he was pulled from the game in favor of Robert Griffin III.

From lights out to mediocre. Speaking of the Rams, a season ago, they were dominant on both sides of the ball. The reigning NFC champions are mathematically still in contention for a playoff game, but have not gotten much of anything from anywhere, especially offensively.
Double-checked by the Bosa brothers. Aaron Rodgers was tormented earlier in the season by Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa. On Sunday night, it was 49ers rookie defensive end Nick Bosa doing the tormenting along with his teammates. The Packers lost to both L.A. and S.F.

Under .500 is good enough for the playoffs. The Cowboys are currently leading the NFC East with a record of 6-5. There is a scenario where they could still go 1-4 the rest of the way and win their division. At the same time, there could be a team that finishes at 10-6 but misses a Wild Card spot.
