Brady Admits Offense is Weak Link to Team

It was not a good showing for the New England Patriots offense, at least according to the quarterback.

In fact, the only Patriots touchdown pass yesterday was thrown by wide receiver Julian Edelman.

The offensive line has been one of the worst in recent memory with Tom Brady being sacked 16 times this season compared to last year’s total number of 21.

The one thing that has carried the Patriots to victory consistently throughout the whole season is their league-best defense and their unmatched special teams play.

Brady finally admitted that the offense is an issue and is indeed the weak link to an otherwise elite team in the NFL.

“The strength of our team is our defense and our special teams,” Brady said on the Greg Hill Show. “So on offense, we’ve just got to take advantage of our opportunities and understand where our strengths lie and try to play them.”

It is surprising to say the least to hear the six-time Super Bowl champion talk himself and the offense down. However, he is not wrong and changes for the better need to be made before the team takes on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

There is a reason why he was available that late, but there’s also a boatload of things to like about this prospect, and the pros arguably far outweigh the cons.
