The Patriots have released TE Eric Tomlinson, per source. If the team chooses to promote WR N’Keal Harry in time for Sunday’s game, a roster spot is open.

After a rather underwhelming trade deadline, the New England Patriots have made a move at tight end.
Releasing Eric Tomlinson will free you a roster spot. That spot will almost certainly go to first-round draft pick N’Keal Harry who Belichick said is making progress.
Harry will be eligible to play this Sunday night against the Baltimore Ravens assuming he is activated by the gameday.
