The New England Patriots had a problem at wide receiver and they appeared to have solved it.
Per reports, the team traded for wide receiver Mohamed Sanu Sr. this morning.

Sanu, 30, went to one of Belichick’s favorite schools Rutgers University and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
He was signed as a free agent by the Atlanta Falcons in 2016 and was part of the infamous ’28-3′ Super Bowl.
Sanu does not have the flashy statistics that Emmanuel Sanders has, but is two years younger and seems to be hitting his stride.
He recorded 67 receptions in 2017 which was a career-high in a season for the veteran receiver as well as a career-high in receiving yards with 838 in 2018.

The now former Falcon appears to be happy as he departs the 1-5 team that is mere moments away from firing their head coach Dan Quinn.
Sanu cannot wear No.12 which is the number he has worn his entire career as a certain quarterback occupies it.
The receiver can however dabble in playing a little quarterback as he has shown that he is more than capable to make a throw down field.
