The Denver Broncos made two big signings on Monday night by agreeing to terms with a pair of free agents.
The team struck a deal with talented offensive lineman Ja’Wuan James, a source told ESPN insider Adam Schefter. It’s a massive four-year, $52 million contract with $32 million guaranteed.

2018 marked the final year under the rookie contract for James, 26. He started all 15 games he played in, bringing his perfect attendance streak to 62 starts in 62 games.
The Broncos also reached an agreement with defensive back Kareem Jackson, Denver9’s Mike Klis hears. It’ll be a three-year deal for the longtime Texans cornerback, who will earn $33 million with his new contract, including $23 million guaranteed, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Jackson, who spent all of the previous nine years with the Texans, has started 124 of the 132 games he has played in. To put that in perspective, there have been 144 Texans regular season games in the last nine seasons, meaning Jackson has missed just 12 games and 20 starts over the last nine seasons.
The 30-year old (31 in April) started all 16 games last season, the first time he has done so since his rookie year in 2010. He intercepted two passes, forced two fumbles, recovered a fumble, recorded a sack, and contributed in making 87 tackles.
The Broncos are in a challenging division, but one step at a time, they are building up their roster as they aim to become a serious threat in the AFC West.
