Antonio Brown Chooses New Number

New England Patriots fans can now order their Antonio Brown jerseys as the receiver has picked his new number.

In pictures posted by Andrew Callahan on Twitter, the former Pittsburgh Steeler and Oakland Raider who wore No.84 his entire career has picked the No.17.

His old number is held by tight end Benjamin Watson who also wore the number in his first tenure with the Patriots.

Brown wearing the number is basically betting against himself to break the trend that has haunted receivers who have wore that number in Foxboro.

The casualties of No.17 include Taylor Price, Aaron Dobson, Greg Salas, Riley McCarron, and Chad Jackson.
