AFC East rivals are scooping up the players cut by the New England Patriots.
One of the first to go was wide receiver Braxton Berrios, who was claimed by the New York Jets.
Berrios, 23, was drafted by the Patriots in seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of the University of Miami.
He was waived as a result of being outplayed by receivers Jakobi Meyers and Gunner Olzsewski as well as lingering injuries.
In addition, tight end/fullback Andrew Beck was claimed by the Denver Broncos while the Miami Dolphins swiped a pair in defensive end Trent Harris and cornerback Ken Webster.
Patriots writer for ESPN Mike Reiss pointed out that head coach Bill Belichick is aware that the team has had more players taken from them via waivers than any other team.
In addition the Patriots re-signed tight end Stephen Anderson, linebacker Terez Hall, linebacker Calvin Munson, and tackle Tyree St. Louis to their practice squad.
The team swiped former Indianapolis Colts sixth round pick defensive end Gerri Green stashing him there as well.
This fills out half of the unit with more moves to come.
