Report: Cornerback Named First-Team All-Pro

Following a great sophomore season with the New England Patriots, cornerback Stephon Gilmore was named first team All-Pro for the first time in his career.

WEEI’s Ryan Hannable announced the news on his Twitter account.

Pro Football Focus ranked Stephon Gilmore as their top cornerback this season with a league best 71.8 percent passer rating against, as well as a the team’s lowest completion percentage against at 46.7 percent.

The former Buffalo Bill signed a five-year contract with the New England Patriots worth $65 million in 2017 with $40 million in guaranteed money.
