It was not a good Thanksgiving Day performance on the hardwood for the Harvard Crimson.

Harvard fell behind 11-2 just 2:50 in, and it was downhill from there for the Crimson as they found themselves trailing 46-20 at halftime.

HARV (2-3) 20 51 71

Harvard, despite outscoring St. Mary’s 51-43 in the final frame, couldn’t dig itself out of its early hole and fell, 89-71.

The Crimson shot a dismal 4 of 19 from beyond the arc and were outrebounded 39-21. The Gaels connected on 53.1 percent of their shots and hit 30 of 32 free throws in the win.

Bryce Aiken led all Crimson scorers with 22 points and Chris Lewis added 18.

Havard looks to get back on track tomorrow at 4 p.m. against Saint Joseph’s (2-2).
