Holy Cross lost their second game of the season Wednesday, falling, 87-76, to Fairleigh Dickinson.
Holy Cross led the Knights 65-62 with about five minutes left in the game, but the lead was lost after Fairleigh Dickinson went on a 21-9 run spearheaded by Darnell Edge. Edge scored 23 points total, but 12 of them came during this run. He also had six rebounds and three assists.

Freshman guard Caleb Green led the Crusaders 22 points, shooting 8 of 14 from the field and 3 of 5 from 3-point range. Karl Charles came back from his injury with a 17-point night, shooting 50 percent from the field and from beyond the arc. Jehyve Floyd scored 13 points, shooting 6 of 7 from the field, and grabbed seven rebounds.
Freshman Matt Faw and Austin Butler both scored seven points.
Junior forward Mike Holloway Jr. led the way for the Knights, getting a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Elyjah Williams shot perfectly from the field, scoring 11 points with six rebounds. Senior guard Darian Anderson scored 17 points off the bench for the Knights. He also had six assists.
The Knights overcame their 19 turnovers by shooting 56 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc. Rebounding continued to be a problem for the Crusaders, as they were outrebounded by 10.
The Crusaders next game is Saturday at 1:05 p.m. against Albany (5-0).
