Moneyline: CAR (+136) | CHI (-162)
Over/Under: O/U 38.5 (-110)

The Bears enter the primetime matchup as slight favorites over the lowly Panthers.

Chicago Bears

The Bears are coming off a frustrating 24-17 loss against the New Orleans Saints in which they turned the ball over five times. Hosting the Panthers, they look to get their third win of the season against a much weaker opponent. Although it’s looking like draft season has already started in Chicago, a win wouldn’t hurt. Ironically, defeating the Panthers would improve their Bears’ draft positioning as they hold Carolina’s 2024 first-round pick.

Record vs. Carolina: 7-3-0
Most Recent Victory vs. Carolina: 10/18/2020, won 23-16
Record in 2023: 2-7

X-Factors: QB Tyson Bagent, Run Game, WR D.J. Moore, TE Cole Kmet, CB Jaylon Johnson, DE Montez Sweat

Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers’ 2023 season has been a complete and utter disaster. At 1-7, the team looks to survive and prepare for the future. However, tanking is out of the equation with no first-round pick in 2024. Carolina hopes the season ends sooner rather than later to build a competent roster around 2023 No. 1 pick Bryce Young.

Record vs. Chicago: 3-7-0
Most Recent Victory vs. Chicago: 10/05/2014, won 31-24
Record in 2023: 1-7
Notable Injuries: DE Brian Burns (Out), WR D.J. Chark (Doubtful), CB C.J. Henderson (Out), WR Laviska Shenault Jr. (Out), TE Stephen Sullivan (Out), S Xavier Woods (Questionable), S Vonn Bell (Questionable), LB Marquis Haynes (Questionable)
X-Factors: QB Bryce Young, RB Chuba Hubbard, WR Adam Thielen, Pass Rush, Offensive Line
