Week 16 in the National Football League wraps up this evening with the Los Angeles Chargers (8-6) taking on the Indianapolis Colts (4-9-1). It’s a good old-fashioned Monday Night Football showdown with playoff implications and internal impressions on the line.

Best Bet No. 1: Parris Campbell UNDER 35.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

Even with the coaching change, the Indianapolis offense, (especially in the passing game) has been mediocre at best in 2022. This has deemed receivers such as Parris Campbell a complete non-factor over the past few weeks. Last week, Campbell was targeted four times, made two catches, and totaled 13 yards.

This week, the former Ohio State man will slot in behind Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce, and there’s no real telling how much action and volume he’ll receive with Nick Foles under center. In addition, the Chargers defense has allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to slot receivers. All in all, I think this is a less than favorable matchup for the Colts receiver. Ride with the under on his 35.5 receiving yard prop.

Best Bet No. 2: Zack Moss OVER 56.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Lost in the shuffle of Indy’s embarrassing loss last week at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings, was the impressive display from Zack Moss. After featuring in 67 percent of Jeff Saturday’s offensive reps, the former Bills back racked up 81 yards on 24 carries. He also led all backs in routes and red zone opportunities and did his best to make the most of his opportunities. Needless to say, Moss was a lone bright spot in what was a loss to forget for Indianapolis.

Heading into tonight, we should see much of the same with the Colts’ running game with Moss at the focal point. Moss is slated to see a lot more touches, snaps, and subsequent volume on offense, and is the main beneficiary with the injury to Jonathon Taylor. In contrast to his Indy teammate, Moss is in a great spot here this evening to have himself a night and endear himself amongst the Colts coaching staff and front office. I’m taking the over on his rushing prop. Who’s with me?
