Welcome, hoop fans, to another week in the NBA. The current season is already shaping up to be a great one and the near future is going to be filled with huge games. If you mix those NBA regular-season games with the NCAA playoffs, then you’ll have a series of explosions of non-stop basketball action. Fans can’t complain about that for sure.
Especially when they can also make some money. Between the NBA and March Madness, fans can place a variety of bets and make some serious cash. Free picks are a great way to start to fatten your wallet. Now, let’s take a peek ahead and see the top games for next week.

February 28
Do you want to know what the NBA was like 30 years ago? Back then, shooting guards were the popular scorers and they didn’t have to rely on having three-point shooting skills. That’s what you’ll see in the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat game. DeMar DeRozan of the Bulls will be going against Jimmy Butler of the Heat. Both players don’t really attempt that many three-pointers but are still providing at least 20 points per game.
March 1, 3, & 5
If you’re going to follow one team next week, you might as well follow the Golden State Warriors. They’ll be playing three times in five days and all of their opponents have that “must-see” status. First up is a date with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Karl-Anthony Towns just won the three-point contest while Stephen Curry just made 16 three-pointers in a game during the most recent All-Star Weekend. Who will “outshoot” who in this game?
Next up for the Warriors is a game with the Dallas Mavericks in Texas. Luka Doncic going up against Curry and Klay Thompson should keep him busy and exhausted all night. So someone from the Dallas side should step up and help him. If no one does, expect a near triple-double from Doncic as he tries to win this game by himself.
The Warriors will then hop on a plane and head out west for a game in the arena formerly known as the Staples Center. The Los Angeles Lakers, who will be without Anthony Davis, will host the Warriors who are probably exhausted at this point of their road trip. Curry and LeBron James will be facing each other as opponents this time after being teammates during the All-Star game.
March 2
The Portland Trail Blazers, without Damian Lillard, will be visiting the Phoenix Suns who’ll be without Chris Paul. We already know that Anfernee Simons can thrive and survive without Lillard. Can Devin Booker do the same for the next several weeks with Paul being sidelined? Yes, that would be the answer. There were games where he was the leading scorer while having the most assists. So we’ll have to see if he can play that way consistently.
March 6
The player to watch here is Josh Giddey of the Oklahoma City Thunder. The majority of the NBA fans out there did not expect him to be this good right away. While we were busy focusing on other well-known rookies, Giddey announced himself to the world by getting three triple-doubles in a row before the All-Star break. How will he fare against the Utah Jazz when he faces Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell?
March Madness Opportunity
When the NCAA playoffs arrive, college players will get their chance to show some scouts, trainers, and coaches what they’re made of. The main goal is to put on a good show. This, of course, will help pave the way for making it to the league. These eager players have to remember two things though. Making it to the NBA is one thing. Staying in the league is another.
