MLB DFS for Monday, May 10

MLB DFS for Monday, May 10: Austin Hays

Our six-game slate at 6:35 pm ET has since been cut to five now that the San Diego Padres – Colorado Rockies game has been postponed. While that limits our choices a bit as there were a few solid values in that matchup, don’t fret. Let’s take a look at our remaining value plays for MLB DFS tonight.

***All Prices Are DraftKings***

On the Bump

Kyle Gibson – $8,600 – at San Francisco Giants

The season started about as bad as it could for the big right-hander. He surrendered five runs and got only one out on Opening Day against the Kansas City Royals. Since then, Gibson has been magnificent. In six starts, he has thrown 41 innings and given up only six earned runs on 26 hits with a 34/10 K/BB rate. Each of those six starts has been of the quality variety and the former first-round pick has had his sinker working, allowing just two long balls.

Mitch Keller – $6,800 – vs. Cincinnati Reds

Keller has been up and down all season. However, his last start gives us hope. He went into San Diego and shut them out for nearly six innings allowing only two hits. He also gets a Reds team that has been abysmal offensively on the road. Cincinnati has scored only 40 runs in 14 games away from Great American Ballpark. They have also been shut out four times in those 14 matchups.

On the Dirt

Isiah Kiner-Falefa – SS – $4,000

The Rangers’ shortstop is coming into his own this season. Recently, he has been hot going 8-for-16 with a couple of doubles in his last four games. Kiner-Falefa has already set his career-high for HRs (5) and is looking to set his career mark in SBs (8, he has 6).

David Fletcher – 2B – $3,500

The Angels leadoff man offers one of the safest floors of any hitter priced under $4,000. He has scored points on DraftKings in each of his last 14 games. In that time, he is averaging 7.6 points per game. As long as his price is right, Fletcher deserves to be in at least a few of your cash lineups every night.

On the Grass

Austin Hays – $3,800

Hays is having a nice series against the Boston Red Sox, going 5-for-12 with a couple of doubles. He gets to face southpaw Martin Perez tonight. Hays has mashed lefties so far this season and is 11-for-28 with three of his four bombs coming against them. He is my Home Run call of the night.

Adolis Garcia – $3,200

This price is great for a guy with nine homers in 26 games this season. Not to mention that he has an eight-game hitting streak with the last three being of the multi-hit type. The 28-year-old is on fire right now. Lock him in.

Good Luck to Everyone in MLB DFS tonight.
