Prior to the 2020 NFL season, three questions were posed for each of the 32 teams. This is the recap and answers to those questions for the Cleveland Browns.

Is Beckham Still Among the Handful of Elite Receivers?

As bad statistically as Odell Beckham Jr.’s first season was in Cleveland, year two was even worse. The wide receiver played just seven games before tearing his ACL and spending the rest of the season on injured reserve. His season ended with just over 300 yards receiving and three touchdowns. All indications are that he will be back and ready by the start of next season. For his and the Browns sake, year three numbers-wise needs to be similar to what they were in New York with the New York Giants.

Will Myles Garrett Keep his Anger Under Wraps?

With the Steelers-Mason Rudolph debacle of 2019, that jeopardized his career behind him, Garrett kept his anger in check. He tallied 12 sacks this season, he also accounted for four forced fumbles. Garrett earned his second Pro Bowl selection in his fourth season. He was also named to his first, first-team All-Pro selection.

What Can We Expect From Third-Year Mayfield?

Baker Mayfield in year three had a solid season. He threw for over 3,500 yards and 26 touchdowns, with just eight interceptions. He did his part to lead his team to a playoff victory over division rival Pittsburgh. A week later the team came close to upsetting the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round. Mayfield’s job was made easier by arguably the best running back duo in the NFL. Nick Chubb finished with 1,067 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns. While his backfield mate, Kareem Hunt totaled over 1,100 yards from scrimmage, 841 on the ground, and 11 total touchdowns.
