Monday Night DFS: Week 14

Monday Night DFS Nick Chubb

The NFL playoff race is starting to heat up. Monday night football brings us a colossal matchup out of the AFC North. The Cleveland Browns will host the Baltimore Ravens. This game is the biggest game for the Browns in many, many years.

Baker Mayfield and the Browns are looking to continue their winning streak and with a win, they will be in striking distance of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the division race.  Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are on the outside looking in for the final wild-card spot. Both teams are looking for a huge primetime win. Let’s look at the top players for this AFC North matchup.

FanDuel MVP

Nick Chubb (DK $10,200 | FD $14,500)

A big part of the Browns’ recent success has been Chubb coming back from injury. He is one of the best running backs in football and when the Browns can get Chubb going, Baker Mayfield and the offense can get some play-action going off of the run game. The Browns will look to get Chubb going early and he should see a bunch of carries in this game. The Raven’s run defense is very good, but they have allowed some running backs to have big games this season. Chubb should see plenty of carries and should be efficient enough to put up the most fantasy points in this game.

DraftKings Captain

J.K. Dobbins (DK Captain $12,300 | FD $11,500)

Dobbins has put together back to back solid games. At his price in the Captain spot, he will save enough money to afford the high salary players on this slate.  Last week he was able to turn 11 carries into 71 yards and one touchdown. He only saw 38% of the snaps last week but that number should go up this week. Before he had gone on the Covid list, his snaps were trending upward. He is a dynamic runner and adds a new dimension to the offense that makes it impossible for the Ravens not to give him more carries. Dobbins could be the featured back and this game has all the potential for Dobbins to breakout.

Utility Player

Marquise Brown (DK $7,400 | FD $10,000)

Brown has finally been able to get things going after having zero catches against the Tennessee Titans a few weeks ago. In his last two games, he has seen eight targets and has caught a touchdown in both games. Brown only has one game over 100 yards receiving this season and that was against the Browns in week one. The Browns have allowed receivers to score 15 receiving touchdowns on the year. Look for Brown to have a solid game and make it three games in a row with a touchdown.
