Week 12 Recap: Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets

The Dolphins move to 7-4 as they took care of business today against the New York Jets.

First Quarter

In what is shaping up to be a defensive battle, the two teams traded field goals as Sergio Castillo hit a 38-yarder for the Jets and Jason Sanders kicked a 54-yard score to tie the game 3-3.

Second Quarter

The Dolphins started the second quarter at their own 12. Ryan Fitzpatrick passed for 73 yards on the drive finally hitting Mike Gesicki for a 13-yard TD. Miami 10-3.

After the Jets go three-and-out, the Dolphins move down the field only to let Sanders boot through another three points, this time from 51 yards out.

The Jets make it to the Dolphins’ 11-yard line only to have Castillo miss a 29-yard field goal which ends the half.

Third Quarter

Punt, interception, punt, punt, fumble, punt, fumble. Not a whole lot of offense going on here.

Fourth Quarter

The Dolphins finally put us out of our misery with a seven-yard TD to Adam Shaheen. Miami wins 20-3

Highlights

The Dolphins have another cakewalk next week as they host the Cincinnati Bengals. The question is who will they have under center.

The Jets host the Las Vegas Raiders who need it after a beating at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons today.
