The Panthers are 1-3 in divisional play, and 3-4 on the season after falling to the New Orleans Saints last week. The Falcons come into this week with just one win on the season, against the Minnesota Vikings, and six losses.
Seven weeks of the 2020 NFL season have gone by and the playoff picture features some expected teams, but also a few surprises. Let’s take a look.
After several weeks of uncertainty, the Cincinnati Bengals have solved the situation with their disgruntled star. The Bengals have traded defensive and Carlos Dunlap to the Seattle Seahawks just days before the trade deadline.
The Chicago Bears suffered a 14-point loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7 but that doesn’t mean they should go back to their backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky.
The New York Jets are notoriously the worst team in the NFL this season with an 0-7 record. New York has a ton of injuries and lacks the talent to take them to the next level. They undoubtedly will be sellers at the trade deadline but may also want to build for the future. They have plenty of walk-year players to sell as well as young rising stars. If they choose to buy for the future, they have a whole array of draft picks over the next few years to build the roster up.
Seven weeks down in the fantasy season which means managers are about halfway to the playoffs, depending on how your league schedules the final frames. The byes are going to hit harder now, and the injuries remain plentiful. With that said, there are still quality players available in leagues.
